ZKONG has partnered with Danube Home, one of the leading home furniture and décor retailers in the Middle East, to successfully deliver a full-store Electronic Shelf Label (ESL) deployment at its Festival Plaza store in Dubai. The project was jointly delivered with Technowave, ZKONG’s key regional partner, marking a significant milestone in the adoption of ESL technology in large-format home retail environments.

Danube Home operates large-scale stores covering furniture, décor, kitchenware, bathroom products, and lifestyle categories, with high SKU diversity and complex merchandising layouts.
Such environments demand higher efficiency in price management and consistent information display, making traditional paper labels increasingly insufficient.
The project achieved 100% digital label coverage, with over 3,000 ESL units deployed across six different sizes ranging from 2.6" to 10.2".
Each label format was carefully selected based on product type, display structure, and viewing distance, ensuring both operational efficiency and clear visual communication across different store areas.
Through deep integration with Danube Home’s pricing workflow, ZKONG’s ESL solution enables real-time synchronization of pricing and promotional updates, replacing manual paper labels with automated execution. This significantly improves pricing accuracy while reducing operational workload.

The successful rollout was driven by strong collaboration. Technowave led local deployment and worked closely with Danube Home’s IT and Marketing teams to ensure seamless integration and operational alignment.
Following this implementation, the ESL solution is expected to be expanded across 10 to 12 Danube Home stores, further scaling digital pricing infrastructure across the network.

This project demonstrates the scalability and reliability of ZKONG’s ESL solutions in complex, high-SKU environments and provides a strong benchmark for digital transformation in the home retail sector across the Middle East.
