UB Care, a leading healthcare IT platform company in South Korea, has selected ZKONG’s Electronic Shelf Label (ESL) solution, marking the official start of the partnership. The decision follows a rigorous and comprehensive evaluation process, reflecting UB Care’s high standards in technology selection.
Founded in 1994 and headquartered in Seoul, UB Care is a core subsidiary of the GC (Green Cross) Group. As a key player in Korea’s healthcare IT sector, UB Care holds a leading position in the clinic and pharmacy EMR market, with its flagship product Uisarang widely adopted across medical institutions. The company has also expanded into medical equipment distribution, pharmaceutical data services, and digital healthcare platforms, building a comprehensive ecosystem spanning hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies, and establishing strong influence across the industry.
With an estimated reach covering approximately 50% of pharmacies in South Korea, UB Care represents a highly strategic partner, and this collaboration demonstrates strong potential for scalable deployment.
The current plan includes deploying ESL solutions across approximately 100 pharmacy locations, with both parties continuing to expand the scope of cooperation over time. This phased approach reflects a long-term commitment to building digital infrastructure across the pharmacy network.

By deploying ZKONG’s ESL solution, the partnership aims to enhance pricing standardization and digital information display within pharmacy environments, improving operational efficiency and ensuring data consistency at scale.
ZKONG’s cloud-based ESL platform enables centralized multi-store management, real-time price updates, and seamless integration with POS and ERP systems, providing a reliable and efficient infrastructure for modern retail operations.
This partnership not only reflects UB Care’s rigorous selection standards, but also underscores the maturity and competitiveness of ZKONG’s ESL solutions. Moving forward, ZKONG will continue to strengthen its presence in South Korea, accelerating the adoption of ESL technology across healthcare and pharmacy sectors.
